On 3 June 2019, Equal Measures 2030 will launch the inaugural SDG Gender Index, which explores the state of gender equality across more than 120 countries, aligned to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The 2019 SDG Gender Index will be used as a baseline for tracking progress on gender equality regularly until 2030.
We will present the 2019 SDG Gender Index at the Women Deliver Conference (WD2019) in Vancouver, Canada, 3-6 June – the world’s largest conference on gender equality and the health, rights, and wellbeing of girls and women.
Explore the new 2019 SDG Gender Index from 3 June on our interactive online platform, the Gender Advocates Data Hub.
Are you attending the WD2019?
Come and discover the power of data to drive action on gender equality at our exhibition booth at the ‘Fueling Station’ – a central event hub housing 300 booths, stages, film screenings, coffee stations and more. Through touchscreens, interact with the SDG Gender Index hosted on our Gender Advocates Data Hub. Meet Equal Measures 2030 staff, our partners and some of our national gender advocates and learn how data is being used to drive their advocacy work.
Join the side event we are hosting on 4 June to present the 2019 SDG Gender Index and findings. You will hear from our core partners, national partners, and special guests on how data is already fueling change on gender equality, and how the new index can help drive action and accountability on gender equality in your country and on the issues that you care about.
