Salesforce/EM2030 Fellowship for Data Journalists
Salesforce/EM2030 Fellowship for Data Journalists
About the Fellowship
Salesforce and Equal Measures 2030 have joined together to create a fellowship for data journalists.
By providing training in Tableau data visualization software and personalized support, the fellowship aims to strengthen the capacity of women and gender minority journalists to use data in their journalism and to foster a network of data-driven journalists who are passionate about gender equality issues. Through this support, we seek to increase the reach and impact of journalism about underrepresented issues and historically underserved communities, and enhance connections between data journalists and advocates at global, national and local levels.
The fellowship started on the 24th of October and will run remotely until early April. This year, 11 journalists and gender equality professionals from across Latin America will participate in the fellowship, including from Colombia, Guatemala and Venezuela.
